Eight times a year
Including a replay for 1 month
Free for community members
We organize webinars eight times a year on various topics. Zefanja Vermeulen and external experts share their in-depth knowledge, allowing you to learn more about the horse's body.
These webinars are free for participants of the full The Horse Inside Out course and community members. Non-members can easily register for individual webinars.
You’ll kick off our in-depth webinar series with the fundamental movements of the horse! This first webinar lays the crucial foundation for you to understand all of your horse’s movements. Walk, trot, and canter may seem straightforward, but in this session, you’ll examine the biomechanical details that are essential for recognizing quality, suppleness, and potential issues in your horse.
The natural gaits: You’ll discover how the gaits move optimally by nature, and learn which internal structures (muscles, tendons, joints) are active and need to work together correctly.
Structure and function: You’ll get a detailed look at the biomechanical chains that drive movement.
Recognizing irregularities: You’ll learn about common gait irregularities and how they may be linked to overuse or compensation.
Whether you’re a trainer, therapist, or horse owner, this session gives you the knowledge to analyze your horse’s movement with a trained eye.
