Description

In the webinar on May 28, we will take a deeper look at the movement of the horse’s forehand. Together with Zefanja and Thirza, we will zoom in on shoulder freedom.

What can you expect?

Thirza will guide you through the function and mechanics of the forehand within movement. How should the shoulder actually move? What do we consider correct foreleg movement, and what does this look like in the walk, trot, and canter?

Using anatomy and biomechanics, we will explore the structure of the forehand, the role of the shoulder muscles, and the suspension system that connects the forehand to the trunk.

→ Insight into correct shoulder and foreleg movement in all gaits
→ Understanding of the anatomical structure of the forehand and its suspension system
→ Knowledge of well-functioning shoulder muscles and their role in movement
→ What does shoulder freedom mean, and how can you recognize it in practice?
→ How all of this contributes to balance, carrying capacity, and sustainable training
