Description
For some, it is immediatly clear what this course entials, but for those who aren’t yet familiar with the jargon, we’ll briefly explain. During a dissection, a deceased horse is completely dissected to discover its story. Have you ever wondered why a horse reacts in a certain way or why it can or cannot perform certain physical tasks? How many times have we said how much we’d love to take a look inside a horse’s body to find out if there’s really nothing wrong with it, or what exactly is wrong with it?
Problems are often deeply hidden. Yet, what you can see and feel offers various clues. By paying attention to the details, you can uncover a wealth of information. During the dissection of the entire horse, the specialized team trained by Sharon May-Davis will guide you through the field for which she has become world-renowned. What does the inside of the horse tell you about its life? When you first hear or read this, it might sound a bit scary. We can assure you that it absolutely is not.
In this three-day course, you can see and experience what lies beneath the horse’s skin, and as a therapist, trainer, saddle fitter, bit fitter, or hoof care professional, you will gain a better understanding of the origins of problems and complaints.
During the practical days, Zefanja Vermeulen and her team will take you through the research into the life of the horse, keeping you informed of the latest studies.
